Below you will find Chapman Census Records.  At the bottom of the page you will find a link to an index for viewing actual census images located on the Library of Michigan's Web Page for the 1870 census.

Most of this following section are transcriptions of the records of Oakland County Chapman Families from the 1870 MI census index listing.  You can find a link to the Library of Michigan located lower on this page.  Many of the images were very difficult to read.  I did the best that I could to make out the handwritting.  If you would like, go to the site link, type in your Chapman information and click on the link provided by the Library of Michigan to view the actual census image for yourself.  Most of these census records do not as of yet link up to my Chapman family, but I am posting here as a possible aid to others researching their Chapman Line.
